Mid Software Quality Assurance Tester

Full-time position

We are looking for a new tech enthusiast colleague for the position of Software Quality Assurance Tester to help us test the mobile and web apps we develop.

You will work closely with developers, stakeholders, and customers to continuously improve product quality, usability, and reliability.

Your role goes beyond executing test cases. We value critical thinking, curiosity, and proactive contribution to how quality is built into our products and processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform functional testing and evaluation of mobile and web applications, using manual testing as a foundation and automation where appropriate.

  • Contribute to the overall testing strategy and execution on projects, not just individual test cases.

  • Proactively identify risks, issues, and improvement opportunities across mobile and web applications.

  • Suggest, validate, and implement improvements to QA processes with a focus on efficiency, reliability, and faster feedback.

  • Leverage automation and AI-assisted tools where appropriate to improve test coverage, analysis, and reporting, while maintaining responsibility for final quality decisions.

  • Critically analyze test results, logs, and reports, including those generated automatically, and validate their relevance and correctness.

  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve product quality, not only to detect defects but also to prevent them.

  • Provide technical product support for our applications to clients around the globe.

  • Maintain clear communication and strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Ensure transparency through clear status reporting, risk communication, and prioritization.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful:

  • At least 2 years of experience with mobile and web testing (both Front-End and Back-End).

  • Experience with API testing.

  • Experience with Automation Testing will be seen as a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with an investigative approach to identifying root causes.

  • Curiosity to explore new tools, techniques, and approaches to software testing and quality assurance.

  • Ability to think critically about results and challenge assumptions, including those produced by automated tools.

  • Good prioritization, tracking, and documentation skills, with a solid overview of project context.

  • Strong communication skills in both Romanian and English.

  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and set realistic expectations with stakeholders.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in Information Technology or a related field.

The Selection Process:

  2. Technical interview. This interview will test your knowledge on QA. It will be approximately 1 hour.

  3. Final Call. It's very important to us to have a good feeling about the person we will work with. This will take approximately 1 hour.
